SELECTIONS
The bouquets take approximately two months to dry. When they are ready I hold appointments in Auckland and Hamilton for the brides to come along and see their preserved flowers with the full range of frames and coloured matts before deciding on the final frame selection of their bouquet.
There are over 100 frames and many more coloured matts available so seeing all the elements of the final design together before selecting your frames etc makes it alot easier to create the look you want.
If you live outside the Waikato-Auckland appointment area you will need to select your frame from our website. The range of frames offered is a selection of our most popular frames including silvers, golds and native recycled timbers. We try to carry New Zealand made frames.
Please note the recycled timbers can vary a little from the samples shown in colour and grain. Because they are from old buildings around New Zealand, they have stronger grain and colour than new timbers. If you like that timber look you'll love them. They're beautiful.
With the recycled timber frames you will need to indicate if you wish to have nails and knots in your frame or clear timber (no knots or holes).
Occaisionally delays occur as a result of frames or matt colours being temporarily out of stock.
BACKGROUND MATT COLOURS
With strong coloured flowers I sugguest a light matt and for pastel flowers a deeper coloured matt, eg: ivory roses can barely be seen on an ivory matt but would look sensational on a deep blue background. Gold and silver backgrounds look great too.
WINDOW MATT COLOURS
You can use the same colour as your background matt or you can create a different effect by using an additional colour, perhaps if you have a colour theme from your wedding, bridesmaids' colour etc.
There are hundreds of colours available so please call me so we can discuss them to achieve the best results. If you have colour swatches I am happy to match to the closest available colour.
